Nick founded Paradise Row in late 2006 in the living room of artist Shezad Dawood’s house on Paradise Row in Bethnal Green. Soon after the gallery moved into a large, vacant hall belonging to St Matthew's Church off Brick Lane before moving to Fitzrovia in central London in 2010.

Initially the gallery showed a group of mainly London-based, emerging and mid-career artists, including; Shezad Dawood, Wolfe Lenkiewicz, Margarita Gluzberg, Douglas White, Justin Coombes, Diann Bauer, Adam Broomberg & Oliver Chanarin, Barry Reigate, Poppy de Villeneuve, Eloise Fornieles, Ed Fornieles, Jake & Dinos Chapman and Guillaume Paris.

Over the years the program opened up to include a wider network of both international and British artists including; Anna Berger, Gosha Ostretsov, Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich, Mounir Fatmi, Birdhead, Gosha Ostretsov, Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich, Eric Yahnker, Israel Lund, Peter Schyuff, Desiree Dolron, Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe, Gabrielle Beveridge, Conrad Shawcross, David Birkin, Jeremy Hutchison, Tom Gidley and Jane & Louise Wilson.

The program also included shows curated by Nour Wali, Maria Baibakova, Lalin Akalan, Price Latimer Agah, Attilia Fattori Franchini, Pippa Hornby, Louise Adam & David Birkin and Darren Flook.

Internationally active, Paradise Row staged pop-up exhibitions in Dusseldorf and Istanbul and took part in numerous art fairs including; Art Basel Hong Kong, The Armory Show, Art Cologne, Paris Photo, Dubai Art Fair, Abu Dhabi Art Fair.

Paradise Row was proud to have launched and fostered the early careers of many of its represented artists, bringing their work to wide critical and commercial attention and to have placed work by its artists in numerous major, private and public collections including those of the Tate and MoMA.

Paradise Row closed in 2014.
